Perfecting the Project Process with “Dale’s Seven Steps”

Sweaty palms, racing heart, and details, details, details! Don’t let a remodeling project overwhelm you. Dale’s Remodeling’s Seven Step Process is the stress-free way to remodeling. We’ll work together, step-by-step, to achieve the room of your dreams.

  1. couple is considering future remodel ideasMeet and Greet

Our process begins by getting to know each other. An on-site visit to your home will give us a chance to share ideas and address barriers before work begins. You’ll be invited into our studio to meet with a project designer to go over the goals of your remodeling project and get to know your personal style.

  1. Design Process

Preliminary sketches, drawn up by our creative team, help you envision the final project and make adjustments before the work begins.design sketch of kitchen interior

  1. Scope and Agreement

Finalizing the scope and cost of the project prior to the first swing of the hammer sets the stage and expectations of the work. It’s an important part of Dale’s commitment to “deliver on time and on budget, while providing a great experience.” See an example of Dale’s Scope and Agreement

Now the best part of our process begins! Hundreds of samples in flooring, hardware, tile and much, much more are available in our showroom and through local vendors to customize the look of your home. Once the details are in place we’ll create a “Finish Schedule” to solidify the work and establish a timeline.

  1.   Beginning Walk-Through

During a second on-site walk-through you’ll meet your project manager and lead carpenter. Together we’ll review the project goals to catch any loose ends or make last-minute changes.

  1. Construction

Dale’s Remodeling will manage and coordinate scheduling between contractors, suppliers and independent craftsmen, and obtain the proper permits to complete the work. But don’t worry about being left out of the process once the work gets underway. Weekly meetings between with your lead carpenter will keep the guesswork down while construction moves forward.44

  1. Final Walk-Through

When the finishing touches have been perfected, a final walk-through will ensure your dream room has been achieved and Dale’s commitment to deliver our very best has been fulfilled.
