Dale’s Remodeling Raises $4,100 for American Cancer Society

The American Cancer Society’s 7th annual Hope Ball took place on March 15th, 2014 at the Portland Art Museum. Dale Van Lydegraf, owner & President of Dale’s Remodeling was so inspired after his participation last year he offered up a donation for a second time this year.
“It’s such an important cause to us, cancer has impacted close friends, relatives & even a key member of our team at Dale’s Remodeling was diagnosed in 2011 and after a long and up-hill battle, she is now in remission. It’s a tough fight that we just can’t ignore“ Van Lydegraf says.
Dale’s Remodeling donated a 5 night stay at Van Lydegraf’s villa/mansion ‘Casa Corona’ in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, which he authentically remodeled in 2007. Dale’s Remodeling’s donation last year into the silent auction was such a hit that the committee members approached Dale’s Remodeling for a second time, this time to enter it into the live auction, ultimately raising a total of $4,100 for the American Cancer Society. All proceeds support the Society’s mission of funding cancer research, education, and support programs.
Van Lydegraf goes on to say “My participation in last years’ event was all volunteer, so it was a different and exciting experience attending in black tie apparel! I am just proud to have such an amazing team at Dale’s Remodeling with my daughter by my side eager to step into my shoes. We are thriving, giving us more and more opportunity to give back to the community and support what we believe in… more birthdays as they say.”
